Join us for a celebration of Cuban culture with authentic live music, the amazing DJ Javier La Maquina De Cuba, plus delicious cocktails!
ABOUT CARLOS MIGUEL Y LA DIMENSION
The group formed in 2009 in London, inspired by a collection of Melodic contemporary Timba sounds, Latin jazz and Rumba. The members met after moving to London and found the need for Cuban bands on the emerging UK latin scene. They all shared a deep love for the likes of Marc Anthony, Celia Cruz, Oscar de Leon, Luis Enrique, and Van Van amongst others. Their unique brand of entertainment fuses a very modern commercial sound with an energetic and dance-oriented Cuban sound, great vocal harmonies and punchy horn lines. These get fused with modern urban genres and reggaeton, accompanied by impeccable attire that will make you want to dance all night!
The band have been hailed as London's Best Salsa party band by Latin music magazine. The group have been in residence for 10 years at famous London latin club “Cubana“, and have played at many prestigious venues all over the UK. "Get ready for the Latin fever and the Caribbean tropicals beach atmosphere with the contagious sound of Carlos Miguel y La dimension " - John Smith, Latin Festival South London .
Carlos Manuel y la Dimensión have recently preform at all the major Latin festivals in London, as well as internationally renowned venues such Ronnie Scott's, The Jazz Cafe, and The CLF Art Lounge.
