Swing Time Dance at Blueberry

Swing by the Blueberry Bar Shoreditch, for a night of vintage music and dancing delight!

We bring you two fantastic swing dance classes. Balboa with Paul Crook & Natasha Hall and Lindy Hop with Sean & Nadia!

If you are NEW to Swing dancing, or maybe an experienced dancer, come on down, all levels are welcome, you'll be sure to pick up some fantastic moves and some great authentic styling.

Balboa & Lindy Hop classes run simultaneously.

• Beginners Lindy Hop & Balboa - 7:30pm - 8:10pm
• 10 min break - Get yourself a drink!
• Intermediate Lindy Hop & Balboa - 8:20pm - 9pm
• From 9pm - 11pm it's social dance time. We have premier DJ's spinning a good mix of Swing & R&B tunes to get the dance floor jumpin'!

Admission:

£9.00 - for both classes & club (before 9pm)

"The Vintage Dance Night. Lindy Hop, Balboa, Shag"

The Swing Time Dance Company specialise in Lindy Hop, the American Jitterbug that originated in Harlem in the late 1920's. It is an energetic partnered dance that includes many Charleston steps as well as tricks, dips and aerial moves. Collegiate Shag, the crazy college dance of the 30's, is also one of our favourite dances along with the Balboa, a more refined and smoother dance with intricate footwork. We also teach original 50's line dances (strollers) and classic routines like the Shim Sham and the Dean Collins Shim Sham.
