Much like the drinks served here, the decor in this cocktail bar is fabulous. Playground boasts a super chic interior with impeccable attention to detail throughout - from the jet black leather seating to the immaculate white marble bar, Croydon now has it very own slice of West London. Whilst there are a few tables outside the front of the venue, on the whole, Playground is a small, intimate space - ideal for a date night.

Where this bar really stands out though is in the drinks department. The master mixologists here combine fresh ingredients with high-quality spirits to create a menu full of innovative, experimental cocktails - and they're all reasonably priced too! Grab yourself a 'Power Pop' for the tidy sum of just £8 - a delicious rum-based cocktail that's served in a mini milk bottle with a bag of popping candy! Looking to go a step further, Playground has even added 'molecular gastronomy' to its expansive arsenal of alcohol artistry. In essence, this means that they're capable of serving up mojitos in small globular spheres on the end of a spoon! But if you'd just prefer something a little more simple, the bar staff are more than friendly and knowledgable enough to whip up any of the classics for you.
