Amidst the beautiful Georgian terraces of Camberwell Grove is the Grand Union, one of South London's most endearing gastropubs. The venue's decor comes complete with inviting lounging areas, flamboyant wall-paper and huge windows which allow natural light to flood in and put the finishing touches to a decor that oozes elegance without being pretentious.
There's plenty of hearty options on the menu to tuck into, with succulent burgers lining up next to sumptuous ribs and wings. A great food menu needs an excellent drinks cabinet to match, and thats certainly what you'll get at the Grand Union. There's a wide choice of beers, wines and cocktails to consider and there's also a happy hour 12-7pm Monday-Saturday and all day Sunday, as well as lunch deals so there's plenty of reasons to drop by.
The all-round appeal of this quirky hangout makes it ideal for a lazy lunch, a relaxing drink after work and a private function in the venue's elegant Snug Room as well.
