A timeless cocktail bar nestled off the hustle & bustle of Portobello Road, serving an eclectic range of spirits created on-site and served fresh off their 400L copper pot still, King Henry, by master distiller Jake Burger and his elite team of gin instructors. As proud purveyors of London spirit, The Resting Room not only serves unique gin blends, they also distill other spirits and fanciful flavours, including one of their favourites & the appropriately named Characterful Vodka, which contains… well, that would be telling, wouldn’t it.

Alongside the intriguing list of hand-blended spirits available, patrons can also enjoy a thoughtfully-considered selection of internationally-renowned spirits that they've sourced from friends around the world and aged in re-coopered barrels suspended above the bar, from which they will be directly served.The most exciting thing of all these exciting things? Due to the spirit’s on-going aging process within the barrel, no two drinks will be quite the same.Topped off with an impressive & provocative wine list, they're pretty proud of their small neighbourhood bar.

Whilst a heady cocktail menu & relaxed yet esoteric surroundings are our metaphorical bread & butter, their actual bread and butter doesn’t let the side down. A menu of quintessential British dishes all created with local ingredients, with a selection of mouth-watering small plates and a charred and roast section, all cooked in a Josper oven.
