Lucy Blu 8.10pm

“Lucy Blu is a British Country singer and songwriter with a soulful edge to her vocals and lyrics. She has been influenced greatly by country rock queen Linda Ronstadt, as well as taking inspiration from more recent artists like Brandy Clark, Kacey Musgraves and Cam.

Having been exposed to a huge array of musical styles from a very young age, Lucy quickly found that her heart was drawn to the pure storytelling she found in Country music, and once she began writing her own original material, it was only natural that this was the direction her music was destined to take. Despite being told, when starting out, that there was ‘no market’ for Country music in the UK, she persevered, determined, above all else to create music that she would always be proud of. The steady growth of Country music’s popularity in the UK has only strengthened Lucy’s resolve and passion, and after her debut EP release last year was met with great reception and reviews, she is delighted to currently be working on her debut album, due for release in late 2018!”

The video for her first single, LifeAndSoul is now making the rounds along with Real Ones, with its hard-hitting remix by WestFunk. Expected follow ups are Builders and Sunset. Look out for Camilla Destiny features this summer with music from artists J-Town (Flights from My Soul) and Atumpan (The Thing).

Lots Holloway (Presented in association with TALENTBANQ) 9pm

Multi-instrumentalist Lots Holloway is a talented artist who produces, writes and creates all her own music. Since being signed to indie label Why I? Records in 2016, Lots has gone on to release a stream of infectious and original indie-pop tunes. From this, Lots has picked up ever more support, not just from fans and peers, but also from respected press outlets, influential radio stations and underground indie magazines.

Holloway's talent for song writing really shines through; in clever lyrics, strong melodies and memorable songs that manage to stay with you long after you first hear them. Based around live instruments (drums, guitar and bass), Lots music spreads clever layers of sounds from the freaky and psychedelic end of the spectrum all the way to the warmer softer tones - but Holloway's music is always bursting with inventive synths and weird sounds.

All this adds up to something truly fresh and original, and a live show from Lots Holloway is just as compelling. Lots' on stage presence is second to none. Holloway is enchanting and captivating, and fronting a full live band she only becomes more powerful.

Will Purdue and Liza Bec 9.30pm

Will Purdue, the introspective and emotional singer-songwriter and Liza Bec, the alternative multi-instrumentalist, continue their collaboration, showcasing their evolving and exciting new material from their latest releases.

Will’s soulful rasping baritone and Liza’s gorgeously theatrical soprano combine in a truly unique combination of sultry harmonies, with Liza adding both recorder and saxophone to Will’s skilful and sensitive guitar. Together they create a very classic and rarely heard sound, fusing elements of folk storytelling with alternative rock.
