The Martini is the undisputed king of drinks. Perhaps the most iconic drink in existence – it carries with it a wealth of symbols, myths, quotes, endorsements and protagonists.
It has been called “the only American invention as perfect as a sonnet” and has been a symbol of both refined sophistication and wanton excess. And as such, the unusualists at Hendrick’s Gin and the mightily talented team at The Connaught are joining forces to create a Tini Martini Experience, so you can feel the magic of the Martini and learn of its mysterious ways.
Discover what hospitality means to The Connaught team (winners of this year’s Tales of the Cocktail ‘Best Bar Team’) as they share richly intriguing tales and delectable tipples through a decidedly Tini lens. Each session will be co-hosted by Hendrick’s Gin Ambassador, Sasha Filimonov, who will be on hand to bring a healthy dose of peculiarity and delight!
Each session will be one hour and the ticket price will include the cost of four Tini Martinis featuring the Hendrick’s family of liquids – all oddly infused with rose and cucumber – from Classic Hendrick’s Gin to Hendrick’s Orbium to Hendrick’s Lunar and finally the elusive Hendrick’s Absinthe. All ticket proceeds will go directly to the bar. Each guest will also receive a decidedly delicious gift as a takeaway on the day.
