There's a reason you don't always feel comfortable at social events like speed dating and networking.
It's not you, it's the format.
Daisy Connections Speed Friending is for people who find small talk exhausting, networking events performative, and walking into a room full of strangers a bit too much. Most friend-making events weren't made for people like us.

(Psst: "Neuroinclusive" doesn't mean you have to be neurodivergent, by the way. It just means everyone is included, neurotypical and neurodivergent!)
What is Daisy Connections?
Daisy Connections is a neuroinclusive speed friending event for adults in London. It’s a relaxed, low pressure afternoon designed for people who find traditional social events a bit much, whether that’s the small talk, the noise, the not knowing anyone, or just not knowing what to say. We’ve thought about all of it.
When are the events?
6th June & 1st August 2026
1:30pm to 5:30pm

How does it work?
Everyone gets a short profile on the app, so when you sit down with someone new and scan their QR code you can already see a bit about them before you start talking. At the end of each chat you can discreetly indicate who you’d like to stay in touch with, and there’s also a separate box if you felt something a little sparky. Only mutual interest is ever revealed, so there’s no awkwardness either way. For those that prefer old school there’s a paper format too.
Neuroinclusive
Conversation cards are at every table so nobody has to worry about their mind going blank. Most people use them as a backup rather than relying on them throughout, but they’re there if you need them. There’s also a quiet area to decompress with adult colouring in, for anyone who needs a moment. No bright lights, no flashing lights and no overall bell. The environment is volume-controlled and sensory-considerate.
Breaks & Mixer
Based on feedback from people who’ve attended similar events, one of the biggest worries is not knowing what to do with yourself during unstructured time. That feeling of not knowing where to stand, what to do with your hands, or how to naturally start a conversation with someone new. So we’ve built activities into the break and mixer. Digital Darts, pool, giant Jenga, and adult colouring in are all available, giving you something to focus on and a natural reason to chat without any pressure.
Professional Compère
The event is professionally hosted by a compère, with individual hosts facilitating, guiding, and supporting throughout.
Extras
Every ticket includes a welcome drink token, and there’s a raffle on the day where you can win a drink for you and someone else at the event.

1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
