I reserved an area at The Victorian Bath House for a surprise gathering for my friends birthday. The staff were very helpful from the moment of booking through until the end of the evening, nothing was too much trouble. The venue is very pretty and the cocktails are so good! I would highly recommend the venue for a small group gathering or for the perfect date! They have two bars one slightly smaller than the other which gives a lovely intimate feel, my only observation would be that perhaps one or two more barman might have helped manage the demand for drinks. visited Victorian Bath House on 29 Sep 2017

Unimpressed with lack of service. Our table was a glorified barrel with two smaller barrels as chairs, very uncomfortable, not in the least bit romantic. Had to ask three times for our candle to be reignited. Ended up leaving after nearly an hour of being sat there with no drinks ending up at our table. Felt fully justified walking out, so my girlfriend and I did just that. Fully disappointed by this night which was top of my list for the week. visited Victorian Bath House on 22 Sep 2017

The place itself is so well decorated and the cocktails are lovely however the service was so appalling that we would never go back. 2 cocktails in 3 hours and this was only because we went up to the bar ourselves- the table service was non-existent! visited Victorian Bath House on 22 Sep 2017

Beautful building, but ruined by sheer disorgainisation. No clear role for the team members. Service, while friendly, was glacial and random. Drinks were ok, but not value for money and were almost mockingly undersized. I am a Londoner (so used to over-subsription and expensive drinks) and love new experiences but this felt slightly like being taken for a ride. Not enough staff. Honestly, go to Ladies and Gents in Kentish Town, an old toilet now cocktail bar, but far better value and service nonetheless. visited Victorian Bath House on 22 Sep 2017

awful - not worth a visit - too busy, awful seats, poor cockatils - thoroughly disappointing. I would give the venue zero starts but apparently I have to give it at least one! visited Victorian Bath House on 22 Sep 2017

Nobody to greet us, drinks didn't come for half an hour, when the drinks finally came they were so strong that they were barely drinkable. Lovely building and interior, but wouldn't go back. visited Victorian Bath House on 22 Sep 2017

This is a truly lovely venue - with beautiful decor and delicious drinks. However, I'm afraid on the night I went there for my birthday celebrations with about 15 other guests, the service was absolutely dire. Most cocktails took at least 45 minutes to arrive. Even the bottle of prosecco we were promised after a litany of late drinks then ironically took about half an hour to arrive. The situation is compounded by the fact that no-one is allowed to purchase drinks at the bar. A really disappointing experience I'm afraid - in the end we left earlier than planned and went to another nearby bar. visited Victorian Bath House on 22 Sep 2017

Fabulous underground cocktail bar dressed beautifully with friendly staff. Cocktail list was extensive and reasonably priced for central London (£9-£10) plus we were given a free welcome drink and glass of champagne! Very nice and authentic feel. Received a very nice welcome cocktail for free on arrival. Prices are not cheap but nothing more expensive in comparison to other cocktail bars. The lights were a bit bright to start although they dimmed them after a while which improved the feel. Felt a bit empty (not intimate), could maybe rearrange the layout a bit to get more people in. Would definitely go back. visited Victorian Bath House on 14 Jul 2017

This place is a hidden gem and absolutely beautiful. Everything about it is first class. I even missed getting my left luggage for the night to stay for an extra drink!! The staff are amazing, the drinks perfect and the ambience decadent. Would recommend to anyone who wants something a little different. The ambience was great, beautiful decor... but the service was very slow, we had to tail down a waiter almost every time we wanted something. There were a few other people, the bar wasn't full by any means, and the cocktails were taking absolutely ages. And all the cocktails came inside one glass which was a bit disappointing. Doesn't compare to the calibre of other bars in London that charge the same amount for cocktails. natalia visited Victorian Bath House on 07 Jul 2017

I was a little disappointed. We came for my daughters 18th birthday (alone with other places). Although I had booked for four there was not a suitable place for us to sit and we were offered puffee type stools. My sister was walking with a crutch after recent surgery and they got her a small chair. It was so awkward a couple on another table offered for us to sit with them thankfully. When ordering drinks they didn't have what my daughter drank. We waited a while to order drinks and even longer to get someone's attention to pay the bill. I'm afraid I was disappointed. visited Victorian Bath House on 30 Jun 2017

Nice place, interesting interior, a good veriaty of drinks and cocktails. Nice, welcoming and friendly staff. The area on the main level is good for bigger groups with the large spaces but if you want a little more privacy and a cozy corner you better go to the lower section which has smaller tables and an interesting decor! What an incredible place! Amazing drinks (made with their own infusions) and the most remarkable of venues. It was a Friday night and thus got a bit hectic, killing the service. We had to go get someone to serve us and get the bill (flicking the butler button did not help). Having said that, despite the number of people it never felt overly packed, just draining on the staff who were probably not as numerous as they needed to be. I would definitely return, but just not on a Friday again. visited Victorian Bath House on 07 Apr 2017

This place is a complete disaster. Out of a group of eight 30-somethings, from across the globe and living in London, ALL of our drinks were unpleasant (and we really aren't that picky). Two of us sent our cocktails back (a brandy-based cocktail tasting like cheap off-cider) and while the others also complained, no offer was made by way of a solution. Even the simple drinks were awful - a G&T with half a measure in and no taste. I have never sent a cocktail back in my life - that is how bad it was - and on my birthday too! Although the cocktails were replaced with Prosecco (safer option), no-one approached us for feedback and we never received an apology. Even worse, those Proseccos were charged as (more expensive) Champagne and other items on our bill were wrong. It took the girl three goes, with coaching from a member of our group, to get the bill right. I complained the next day by email and got an apology back with a promise to look into it and get back to me. It is a week and half later and I have heard nothing. This company does not value its customers - in fact from my point of view, it is trying to overcharge you for drinks which are under-delivering in taste and in measure - as ALL were watered down. While the interior is lovely, that is literally the ONLY thing going for the place. alb visited Victorian Bath House on 10 Mar 2017

I visited on friday, after booking a 2h beer and wine package with a friend for £25 per person. After confirming with the waiter that we could get any wine on the menu, they repeatedlly stalled for time, telling us that each bottle we ordered was unavailable, with a 20min wait in between while they checked. We finally got a bottle of £6 pinot, which would be available at any bar, before our time ran out. Terrible service, bad advertising, and borderline scam.
