Beach Hut Bar Pop Up 2017, in collaboration with Plymouth Gin and Nyetimber
Step out onto the 39th floor and find your way to the sky high beach hut bar, get your photos at the traditional beach-front board. Then head up to the very top of the iconic Gherkin on level 40 and be transported into a traditional Great British beach...your seaside oasis awaits!
Raise a toast to the Great British summer with a perfectly chilled glass of Nyetimber, accompanied by the panoramic, 360 degrees views of London from the Beach Hut Bar. Revel in the long summers with a special allocation of Nyetimber Classic Cuvee, Jeroboams and vintage Magnums all available.
Seaside in the Sky is also partnering with Plymouth Gin, the oldest working gin distillery in England. The team at The Gherkin has taken the inspiration of the Mayflower voyages to create the pop-up's cocktail serves. From a classic Plymouth Gin martini through to a summer cup reflecting the flavours and ingredients of the trading routes, explored by vessels departing from Plymouth harbour; the list is sure to delight seasoned cocktail fans.
There will also be bar snack menus available with a wide selection of British Charcuterie sourced from Dorset. Try a British favourite, Pork Pie – homemade style with short crust pastry served with our very own homemade piccalilli and Best of British Cheeses, sourced and matured by Harvey & Brockless, including: Montgomery cheddar, Keens Mature, Billie, Ashlynn and many more.
If that was not exciting enough they are adding #SeasideSessions to the mix, go and enjoy one of their awesome live bands from 9pm-11pm in the beach hut bar on Wednesday the 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th of August.
