Shane Hampsheir & His Big Band – New Album Showcase
Already regarded as one of London’s top swing vocalists, Shane Hampsheir brings us material from his long awaited debut album.
Previously, he has appeared on albums with the likes of Elton John, Louis Armstrong and Eva Cassidy, performed with the Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra as well as performing at the world-famous Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in his own show and in 2016, even branched out to the USA producing his own one-man show in Manhattan’s ‘Metropolitan Room’.
Also in 2016, Shane released his first single, ‘Brazil’ which made it to No. 1 in the iTunes Jazz Chart. It was recorded at Angel Studios, London with his 18-piece big band. In this show, Shane performs unreleased material from the same recording session, complete with his sensational big band conducted by arranger and producer, Evan Jolly.
