From the team behind the renowned P. Franco and Bright comes Peg.

Having taken over a Hackney corner formerly occupied by Legs, Peg is a counter-style wine bar and Japanese eatery. Keeping things as simple as possible, tables are made of recycled yoghurt pots and a record player provides the soundtrack.

Food is partly inspired by Japanese izakaya-style bar snacks, with dishes such as chicken wings, thighs, and hearts, and smoked mackerel and turnip broth. Much like sister venues, Peg has a refined wine list, focusing on natural bottles, along with a choice of interesting beers. With bar seating and no table reservations, we recommend popping in for a relaxed date night.
