Industrial, innovative and Italian, the Lardo team have turned an old warehouse space nearby Hackney's London Fields into their very own prep kitchen and wine cellar. Boasting a bakery-bar blend, it is here you can purchase fresh ingredients from savoury rye bread and sweet pastries to scummy salumis, as well as hang with friends over a few glasses of wine, which the Lardo team have personally tried and tested from around Europe.

Lardo have expressed their hope to offer cookery courses, but previously were unable to do so in their more intimate Lardo pizzeria, however, their sleek, spacious and airy Lonzo wine bar will be roomy enough for cooking classes to take place. We'd recommend as a unique date idea, you should try your hand at charcuterie boards and bread-making.
