LARDO

Description

Since its opening in July of 2012, LARDO is stylish bar and restaurant that has come to occupy the iconic Arthaus building and has been welcomed into the Hackney bar and restaurant scene with open arms. Offering a non-traditional take on the classic pizzeria, Damian Currie (ex St. John Bread & Wine and Zucca) follows the seasons of Italy, serving up a selection of Southern dishes in the summer and a move to the North during the winter with a menu that changes daily.

All pasta and breads are made in-house, and the charcuterie is made from Mangalitza pigs raised in Somerset and produced at Native Breeds in Gloucestershire. LARDO also serve a selection of classic cocktails, and boast an impressive wine list that can be served by the glass, carafe or bottle.

Perfect for an after-work bite to eat, a catch up with friends over a few drinks or a night with that special someone, LARDO is a chilled out space that tastes as good as it looks.
