Up the Creek

Description

Up the Creek is a popular comedy club in Greenwich that attracts some of the best comedians in the country. The venue, big enough for 300 people, but still intimate, is one of the top places in London for comedy. The upstairs restaurant serves food before, during and after each show if you get hungry. The menu includes burgers, fish and chips and a few Thai options as well as snacks and sharing platters for big groups. When the comedy shows are over the floor is cleared of chairs and becomes a disco, on Friday and Saturday going on until 2am. The DJ usually plays a mix of cheesy pop music to keep the good vibes going all night. There is also an open mic night on Thursdays if you want more than just comedy.

The comedy club is the perfect place for a big night out with a group of friends if you're looking for something a little different. Each show promises a mix of comedians and sometimes even mystery acts that end up being some of the biggest comedians in the country. On Friday you can get a 2-4-1 ticket that gets you into the comedy show and disco afterwards all on one ticket. Grab some food, watch a show and then dance the night away!

Ticket prices vary each night and booking tickets online are cheaper than buying them on the door. Thursday tickets are £4, Friday £11, Saturday £15 and Sunday £6. Students can get into some events for free so be sure to check the event information before purchasing tickets.
