The meal started with cold crisp champagne. The room filled with one family per table so it had a very nice atmosphere. After the wonderful main course, the figgy pudding with salted caramel icecream or the cinnamon pear tart with vanilla ice cream were light which was just what was perfect. visited The Old Brewery on 25 Dec 2016

Very unhappy with the last minute call to tell me that the restaurant was closed. You must have been informed of the ground closure before !! Re-booking us into a crowded, uncomfortable pub was no answer - we were lumbered on Boxing day really poor show visited The Old Brewery on 26 Dec 2016

The atmosphere was nice and staff friendly. Our two young kids were accepted to roam and play around a bit. The food was average quality and a little pricey. Also, of an order for 5, the service was slow on a Sunday afternoon and they got one wrong. visited The Old Brewery on 18 Dec 2016

I suspect we may have been a slightly difficult party to deal with in the run up to the booking but my constant questions were dealt with graciously and promptly. The food and service on the day was amazing - the team couldn't believe how good it was. One team member (who lives in Essex) is bringing her family to show them how good it was! Thank you all so much. visited The Old Brewery on 19 Dec 2016

Lovely welcome from the team on arrival. Jack looked after us well. Food was excellent quality. We went with our Mums, who both struggle in too noisy an atmosphere. They found the Old Brewery perfect - busy with other diners but somehow the noise level was perfect too! We have dined there before but not on Xmas day. We had a thoroughly enjoyable lunch. Thank you Old Brewery! :-) visited The Old Brewery on 25 Dec 2016

We found the service to be very slow. The waiter apologized for the slow service saying they "weren't prepared to be this busy"!! It was 2nd January, Bank Holiday - why would you not expect to be busy? visited The Old Brewery on 02 Jan 2017

it was very quiet when we went as the january rush hadn't kicked in yet - but the maitre dee Jack was so entertaining, attentive and helpful. Our food was delicious, and came quickly and the beer there is top notch too! great night :) visited The Old Brewery on 06 Jan 2017

Food good. Waiter very friendly. But dead and soulless. Saturday night and ours the only table.... Is it the Youngs effect -certainly not the Meantime Old Brewery it used to be. Apparently going to be 'overhauled' soon. Not sure that's going to be the answer. visited The Old Brewery on 07 Jan 2017

We had a great time. The staff were attendant & thoughtful ... despite some of our party being rather difficult customers! They, very kindly, supplied party games for us to play after the meal and, despite only booking a table for 2 hours, we were well looked-after during our 4 hour stay! visited The Old Brewery on 28 Dec 2016

Very slow service, waited 30 mins just to receive drinks. And up to an hour just for starters, which wasn't great. Ordered bread for the kids to have with starters but arrived, once the starters had been cleared away. Ordered kids burgers without mayo and cheese and all come with, therefore kids could only eat the actual burger and not bun. Side orders for the main arrived overcooked and burnt, plus arrived after we had finished the main course. Forgot drink orders and also had to ask twice for coffees with desert. Would not be visiting again!! visited The Old Brewery on 02 Jan 2017

We found your establishment to be very good in terms of food and service. Several members commented to me that they are not aware of your existence and intend to return to your place one day when they visit Greenwich. Once again many thanks to Mark and his team. Food was fine but service was very slow and clumsy. Disappointed as we had guests from Australia and Switzerland. There were no table waiters in the restaurant at all for the first 20 minutes after our arrival and we were only brought menus after going to the bar and waiting in line for quite some time. Champagne glasses dropped and smashed while serving, one order was forgotten completely and the bill was incorrect. We've been many times before for lunch and dinner and while service is always rustic this was a particularly poor experience. As a minimum more staff are required for brunch service. visited The Old Brewery on 29 Dec 2016

Sadly had to send my ordered salad away due to the very long wait. We had an event to get to, checked the order could be done in time- we were told it could be done in twenty minutes. After forty minutes, I had to leave and cancel my salad. Staff were very good, just not enough on duty. visited The Old Brewery on 21 Oct 2016

We had a table for 7 at 17.45hrs prior to a concert. We ordered quickly. About 15 minutes later we were told to order again from the correct menus. Our food did not arrive until 18.45. Chips were cold. One guest had burnt, overcooked crab cakes as a main course that were dry and tasteless. She complained and quickly ordered a side of broccoli. It finally arrived So crunchy that it was almost raw. We had to get cutlery and a napkin from another table. Service was bad, the rest of the food was OK but not brilliant. It ruined my evening frankly which was a shame because the building is interesting, in a great location. The manager seriously needs to address staff and chef. NB Manager did not charge for the main course , broccoli nor service, but as I said, evening ruined. A waste of time and money. visited The Old Brewery on 21 Oct 2016

Great food, drinks and place except fish cakes were way too salty. The salted caramel ice cream tasted like sea water. Cut down on the salt for a super experience!

We were happy with our overall dining experience however the service was slow. It was certainly friendly, polite and pleasant but we had to wait a while for the courses to arrive. For the smoked salmon starter, my preference would have been for the sourdough bread to have been slightly toasted as it needed the contrast in textures. The beef Carpaccio went down a treat with our group of dining companions. With the main - the flavours of the pork steak dish were delicious. Desserts were a hit with everyone! insideout visited The Old Brewery on 06 Sep 2016

Disappointing ! We were the only people in the restaurant at 9 pm on Thurs. 1st of december. At just after 10pm the plates were hastily cleared from the others in the party and while I was still on my main, we were asked to order desserts. Then told we couldn't because the kitchen was closed. There were about 8 staff sitting around a table all the while chatting. I won't be returning. visited The Old Brewery on 01 Dec 2016
