It is deceptively spacious and is able to maintain a cosy feel due to the fact that its divided into several areas, with some top nooks and crannies. With small tables for two, wine barrels placed strategically and all sorts of knick-knacks decorating the walls, the place has a very traditional feel. Private rooms for up to 6 are available to hire, or you can even exclusive hire the venue for up to 300 guests.
Established in 1972, Davy's Wine Vault has a list of over 100 wines, many of which are served by the glass. It has an additional accompanying wine store next door with an even larger wine collection. Head chef David Kirby has created a menus of tasty, fresh and seasonal British food. Davy's has a beautifully atmospheric feel with kind and welcoming staff, a signature of the brand.
