Genuinely one of the worst nights of my life. I was so so disappointed and upset and frankly it ruined my New Years and I'm so annoyed I chose this venue instead of another. The food I'm not a food snob at all, I will literally eat anything especially when drunk but the food was genuinely inedible The mash was cold when it came over then a luke warm plate came over 10 mins later after we mentioned it. There was literally 2 plates of mash for a table of ten? All dishes came over at different times for the main. We had the 'veg' which was shreds of celeriac first, ten mins later cold mash then another 15 mins fatty bits of meat. I did not see nice spare rib/beef as advertised. It was so fatty chewy and flavourless that I didn't even eat more than a few bites. The starter of salmon cannolis were disgusting and not much of it at all. The desert again canollis were really small portions and tasted burnt and horrible. Two of the party were vegan and were served a literal slab of cauliflower - this is NOT worth £63. They didn't even get any sides that were vegan and were also told the dessert was vegan when it was not. I am really disappointed in the vegan options as if this was clear I simply would not have booked. Overall none of us ate apart from a few bites and felt like the £63 we paid each was a complete and utter rip off and we would like a refund. Venue To make matters worse, all of us on the bench side of the table were being dropped on by the ceiling. We had to ask for a tissue to put on top of the painting which did not stop the drip. After dinner, the venue was so so packed you could barely move, get to the bar or go to the toilet. Description on the event description page, it had a welcome drink on arrival as well as games. This seemed to disappear when I went back to check before the event. We also went on to spent another £400 on drinks where bottles had a £4 service charge on each which we couldn't understand. This made our total to £1000+ spent on an inedible dinner and some drinks. Lastly, my friend lost her bag and although some of the staff were mildly helpful, she was kicked out alone before midnight because she was too 'intoxicated' aka frantically looking for her bag which had her phone and house keys in. Luckily her boyfriend was in the venue and could leave with her when she was kicked out alone with no way of getting home. The bouncer even said he didn't think she was too drunk or should have been kicked out. Please please do not waste your money and book this event!

Overall, I had a fun night, and with some tweaks it could have been amazing. Pros: - Great atmosphere, nice setting - Good event concept (3 course meal-turns-party, in one place) - Great playlist whilst eating dinner - Liked the photo booth and nice that it was free Cons: - Service wasn't great, staff didn't seem very happy - The food was very poor, considering we paid £70 for the ticket (no drink included). It was very basic, and tasted OK only. It all came to the table at different times (the meat came on it's own about 10 mins after all the sides had gone, huge plate of meat for everyone to get through), only one of the stated desserts showed up too. We were very disappointed with this part. - When the DJ arrived, he started playing about 10 seconds only of every song, switching constantly between loads of genres, and playing LOTS of old cheesy songs. I know some people love that but personally I'd have loved the same music as the playlist we were sitting down eating to (some dance bangers from this year, and old school RnB). This was another real let down. With improved food and music I'd happily make this my yearly NYE spot :)
