Having first opened its doors in Williamsburg, New York in 2013. They’ve since been a very popular and successful fried chicken and waffle spot.

Owners John Seymour and Rapper Nasir Jones (Nas) have five sites open in New York and L.A and now they've arrived in the very heart of London, Fitzrovia.

Featuring a multitude of different fried chick and waffle combo's, such as the classic version served with raspberry butter, lemon butter and herby butter. Try the sweetcorn waffle or bacon and cheddar waffle or opt for one of their Southern Comfort inspired dishes, such as steak and eggs or shrimps and gravy.

Their Brooklyn style bar is illuminated by a bright pink neon sign declaring ‘it was all a dream’ (an ode to the notorious B.I.G.) serves an extensive drinks list including Sweet Chick's signature tipples ‘Tiger, Tiger Wood Y’all’ (bourbon, cognac, lemon, honey and iced tea) and the namesake ‘Sweet Chick’ (vodka, triple-sec, watermelon and lemon). 

The restaurant area also features a private dining room called 'The Record Shop', which comes with its own private bar and sounds system and is available for private hire, please see the 'Private Hire' tab for more info.

    The menu features all the fried chicken (brined overnight in a sweet tea stained brine) and waffles. Opt for a classic version with your choice of waffles including spiced pecan or bacon and cheddar; or mix things up with a specialty Nashville hot sauce or states-style BBQ chicken. Southern inspired classics such as ‘Shrimp & Grits’ and ‘Biscuits & Gravy’ sit alongside new specials influenced by Sweet Chick’s British home; and are accompanied by comforting sides such as Mac and Cheese, with not one, not two, but THREE types of cheese and a Ritz cracker crumble.

Located towards the back of the venue on the ground floor, you will be transported into a chic, aesthetically cool Brooklyn style record shop. The space has enough seating for up to 30 guests, beautiful interiors, its own designated sound system and a super chic bar.

The Record shop is the ultimate private space for photoshoots, meetings, product launches, private parties and so much more.
