Foxlow is the latest instalment from the founders of the famous Hawksmoor chain, located in the buzzing area of Clerkenwell. A brasserie-cum-diner, Foxlow exhibits a simple décor with turquoise trimmings, wooden tables and red leather booths, and offers a laid back atmosphere. Owners Will Beckett and Huw Gott have developed a niche following for their British inspired delicacies served using the best ingredients and meats that are produced ethically and organically. The chefs in the kitchen are also causing a stir by experimenting with lesser known cuts of meat like the deckle, the top part of the ribeye. The menu has a focus on meat with dishes like six-hour bacon ribs and eight-hour beef shortribs sure to fly out the kitchen, but there is a dedicated salad bar for vegetarians.
