Baranis and Cigalon is an upstairs, downstairs affair with a
French accent. Baranis is the cocktail bar (located in the
basement), and Cigalon is
the restaurant located next door on the upper floor.
At Baranis, you will be able to experience the glamour and
opulence of Southern France as you step inside this chic Chancery
Lane cocktail bar. Set in the vaulted cellar of an old auction
house, Baranis provides intimate booths, table football and the
UK's first indoor Pétanque court (think indoor
boules) - the perfect London bar for after work drinks or for
something a little different in amongst the hustle and bustle of
the city.
Along with Pastis, a traditional French aperitif, Cocktails are
the name of the game at Baranis with some beautiful bespoke numbers
sitting beside some equally tasty, classic French lounge drinks.
The pick of their innovative cocktails is the 'Pastis Old
Fashioned', home made bourbon infused with pastis, deliciously
surprising ! To accompany the cocktails, Baranis also serves
up a selection of nibbles, snacks, and finger food as larger bites
like Fish goujons and chicken skewers or sharing platters as a
Provencal & Corsican Charcuterie selection ! This quirky taste of
France is well worth a visit!
- £5 Meteor on Tuesdays
- £6 Aperol Spritz's on Fridays
- FreePétanque & Babyfoot anytime!
Available over the weekend as a private hire venue, Baranis is
rapidly becoming a haven for birthdays, hen parties or team
building away days, offering an experience of France in the summer
within the convenience of a local tube stop.
