Hidden away near Earl’s Court, Twice Shy is the kind of neighbourhood cocktail bar that feels like a secret worth sharing. Opened in 2023 by former Savoy head mixologist Elon Soddu and Victor Maggiolo (with the team behind Amaro Bar), this intimate spot is all about simple, elegant cocktails served with a side of innovation. Spread across two floors, the ground level boasts a sleek five-metre black granite bar, while downstairs you’ll find a lounge and a lab where the magic happens.
Think striking red walls, soft lamps, and black-and-white photography from the 1920s and 1940s for a touch of nostalgia. The lounge holds just 20 guests, making it perfect for private events or small group bookings - complete with your own bartender if you fancy. Drinks lean experimental: from a Blue Cheese Distillate Martini (yes, really) to a Honeydew & Bitter Melon Negroni twist, plus their signature fresh-stuffed focaccia to keep things balanced.
