Renowned group Darwin & Wallace have opened their seventh venue, this time turning their attention to West London. Located a stone's throw from Ealing Broadway tube station, No. 17 Dickens Yard is a cosy bolthole specialising in all-day dining and smart cocktails.

Sporting the group's trademark gorgeous interiors, this outpost will utilise floor-to-ceiling windows to flood the space with light. Spread across two floors, the venue has an abundance of both indoor and outdoor space; in summer months grab a spot on either the courtyard or the first floor wraparound terrace. Inside, the bar combines light pastel furnishings against a coal-black bar and pillars, creating a juxtaposition of comfort and urban edginess.

The food and drink menu blends seamlessly from day into night, with a crowd-pleasing choice of brunch, dinner and on Sundays, a 'virtuous' roast. Cocktails include classics and quirky twists, created using house made syrups and sherbets, and there's a great list of non-alcoholic choices including Espresso MartiNO: a blend of Seedlip Spice and Caravan Coffee.
