Dach & Sons in Hampstead is a bar and restaurant inspired by 1960s Manhattan with a focus on American Whiskey, craft beers, hot dogs and sliders. From the makers behind Purl and Worship Street Whistling Shop, this is an exciting new project bringing a speakeasy cocktail den upstairs, Flat P, and a meat-heavy American eatery on the ground floor. Dach and Sons is setting the bar admirably high with this new venture with an on-site butcher, full-spectrum Whiskey Library in a vintage bakers rack and a trendy interior style mixing an industrial roughness and white brick work with perky neon signs and bright yellow stools.
Beyond the 60-covers restaurant Dach and Sons also boasts a 40 guest capacity rooftop terrace with a great view over the leafy Hampstead scenery- for those long summer nights and alfresco drinking. Modern Electro music will be soundtracking proceedings giving it a lively and distinct New York atmosphere. Expect crafted cocktails with all the mixology wisdom acquired from Purl but also showcasing new liquids created in collaboration with Master of Malt, including Cream Gin, Radiation Aged Cocktails, Grenadine Syrup, Exhaustion Tonic and Chip Pan Bitters. If the lush cocktails and rooftop view doesnt move you the Speakeasy interior with blue velvet banquettes, black curtained windows and a gold-leaf ceiling dating back to the 1800s will have you completely mesmerized.
