The East Terrace is an open-air space for up to 100 guests. We offer a relaxed riverside setting with the iconic backdrop of Somerset House. It is ideal for informal events. The terrace can be styled with large parasols, planters, poser tables, or bench seating, with the option to add a pop-up bar on request. Please note the East Terrace is hired as an outdoor space only. However, you can opt to add access to the adjoining indoor bar through private doors. It allows guests to move freely between indoor and outdoor areas if desired. Including the semi-private indoor space (up to the end of the kitchen) increases capacity to up to 200 guests.

The West Terrace is a semi-private open-air space with standing room for up to 250 guests. It overlooks Waterloo Bridge. It is an ideal spot for spring and summer events, lightly covered by sail canopies. Enjoy a beautiful riverside view with added privacy from the main bar. The terrace comes with dedicated table service and the option to add a mobile bar. Standing tables, stools, and informal bench seating can be arranged to suit your group. Leafy planters can also be provided to add a fresh touch. Speakers carry music from the bar, keeping the vibe upbeat. Perfect for drinks receptions, casual socials, and sunset gatherings. Semi-exclusive hire is also available for smaller groups.

Our indoor bar offers the perfect blend of energy and atmosphere, with open bi-fold doors connecting the space to beautiful tree-lined riverside views. While the venue remains open to the public, groups have the option to hire a dedicated section of the bar for a semi-exclusive experience.  Ideal for smaller gatherings, this option allows you to enjoy part of the space close to the central bar, with access to nearby seating and AV facilities without the need to book the entire venue. Whether you’re hosting a casual celebration, a networking event, or a brand activation, your group will feel part of the buzz while enjoying a space of your own.  The setup is flexible, with standing capacity for smaller to mid-sized groups, and no hire fee required. Perfect for events that want the vibe of a busy venue with the comfort of a reserved area.
