Foundation Bar in Covent Garden is one of the most charismatic clubs in London with a cutting edge décor, drinks menu and music. You can go for dinner, drinks or a late night of dancing to seriously fresh beats of House music and Club Classics at this central London club. Its expressive nature attracts a hip crowd who let their hair down but also a more relaxed after work crowd. They don’t appreciate sportswear or any silly stag/hen due costumes.
The interior design is beyond original and you’re treated to the latest remixes of eclectic music at Foundation bar. Their wide variety of cocktails are designed and crafted in house, there will be one that will mirror you, we guarantee it!! We’re talking vintage storage jars, coloured tins, milk bottles, teapots, selfies, Starxxxks!, and Cider House Rules… just a few of the new to choose from! Foundation cocktails aren’t just drinks, but a total experience.
Spend Half and Live Double runs daily from 5pm-19:30pm giving a hearty 50% discount off all drinks and social food sharers (excluding bottles of bubbles).
Foundation puts the fun in food, leaving the pretense of fine dining behind for a more social eating experience. If it’s casual dining your after with no fuss, a selection of ‘Boxed Up Burgers’ ready to order, delivered to you all wrapped up and popped in a box – say goodbye to knives and forks! Alternatively, book a Lego table in the diner and try a new range of tasty burgers and hand rolled pizzas, freshly made by the cheeky chef-masters behind the scenes!

Foundation Bar Review 5 Langley Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JA When I was told a new type of bar, a revolution, was cropping up in London's Covent Garden, I was very dubious. Too many times have new bars promoted themselves as...

It's awful, just awful. Was overcharged at the bar and got the stink-eye from the barmaid for asking for a legitimate refund. Had a very expensive item of clothing go 'missing' from their cloakroom (which is £2 PER ITEM) and then not even offered an apology. The music is school disco-esque. It smells rank down there. Oh, and some of the chairs are broken. Don't go, just don't.
We had a friends birthday here and I feel compelled to leave a reaview as i think this place is a great find in Covent garden, its good a really good quirky feel to it, more of the kind you would find in shoreditch and its great for drinks, food and then moving onto the club room for dancing. Happy hour fantastic too, didnt have any issues that ISB mentions below.
Booked a table down here for a friday night for me and 5 friends and we have a really fun night. The cocktails are good, not great but liked the quirky decor and a really buzzy vibe. The club was good for a good old dance to commercial house music and if it stayed open later we would have happily danced for longer. Reccomended. Especially as most of the bars in the area are average at best
Take advantage of Foundation's happy hours and deals (they always have loads on) to really enjoy a night out here. Some nights it can be a bit too busy but as long as you reserve an area you'll be fine. Foundation is perfect for a night out with friends but definitely not somewhere to take a date!
Visited Foundation tonight and initially appreciated the moody atmosphere and eclectic furniture. However, we were soon to be disappointed by the ridiculously small portion of sharing platters, the I'll equipped bar and mediocre cocktails. Only the 50% voucher prevented the night from being a complete disaster.
I like Foundation, its got a lively atmosphere, young people, nice looking girls actually, but also a great place for groups and funky music playing, the happy hour is awesome with 50% off, and then if you want a dance you can walk through to the seperate club which is small and intimate so not like a big cheesy west end place. Niceeeee!
Went on a friday night. Really impressed! We hired the secret garden area for 15 of us...loved it! Great cocktails good ambience. Music was pretty central london in the club part but we still had a good old dance!!
Very surprised that there is such a cool place so close to Covent garden.
Love this place! Went on a friday night..Perfectly designed and like a shoreditch bar/club in West End!! Definitely go here!
Went here on a saturday night...great find! the review on the blog was spot on..really cool quirky bar for the west end. club music was a bit standard funky housey for me but we had booked a section in the lounge area and had a great night. If only it was open past 1am!
Had ipad mini stolen from a bag in the cloakroom which you pay £2 for, when questioned the cloakroom staff he just shrugged & pointed at the disclaimer sign, manager & bouncers were very unhelpful denied everything on the night & then told me to call back, so they could check CCTV, after hours of trying to get through & no one answering & staff fobbing me off saying 'he is in meetings' ...finally spoke to him & he was really unhelpful & rude-& he knew the whole police procedure like the back of his hand, so obviously not new to the situation he was dealing with?! Do not go, & if you really have to, keep your stuff on you & DO NOT use the cloakroom!! :( unfortunately due to the fact that I didn't take my ipad out in full view of the CCTV cameras police couldn't do anything, dread to think just how much the cloakroom staff get away with!
Bit pricey but a very good night. The Happy hour and the platters are worth a visit alone and the quirky original decor is a real triumph.
