Scratch Bar is uniquely positioned in Battersea Arts Centre's iconic Grade II* Listed building on Lavender Hill.  A sun-streaked café by day; a candlelit bar by night, whether it's the bean, the grape or the grain that you are looking for; Scratch Bar can provide! Fresh, homemade food is served at lunchtime and in the evening, along with a range of locally-brewed craft beers, wines and signature cocktails that make it the perfect venue for both after-work drinks and lunchtime meetings.

As well as the main bar, we have a cosy Waiting Room with sofas and a log fire, and plenty of nooks housing armchairs around the building… And our best-kept secret is that we will be opening a new, courtyard garden space right in the centre of the building this summer. Perfect for a cool beer on a mild night!

Why not hire the Waiting Room to make your birthday, engagement or even work-leaving party that extra bit special at a unique venue that's as full of character as you are. A stunning marble staircase and Victorian mosaic floor are first to greet you when you step through the doors, swiftly followed by our friendly staff and welcoming bar, full of quirky upcycled furniture and a wood-burning fire.
