One of the oldest wine houses in the city, this listed building pre-dates the Great Fire of 1666. Originally a Merchants house, there is a sense of long established history combined with a continually evolving offer or well sourced wines from around the world and a menu featuring full-flavoured, Spanish-influenced dishes and tapas plates.
The downstairs cellar called The Smugglers’ Tunnel, thought to be the route smugglers used to transport goods from the cellars to the river has been transformed into a bar area for events, and an atmospheric private dining room.
