Who wouldn't wish to have been in the roaring twenties - an era of gloriousness, Jazz, flappers, pearls and lace, and of course the prohibition. Alcohol may have become legal now, prohibition is over; but not the clandestine, no-signage watering holes. Presenting you, The Gobpsy, a charming and low-lit speakeasy that caters to sophisticated drinkers popping down the secret stairway to savour the drinks, as much as socialise- if you can find the stairs down a vintage barbershop, that is.
With plush seating and intimate candle-lit interiors, The Gobpsy invites you with cocktails from the past and monthly specials. Drinks come together with fat-washed spirits, homemade brines and shrubs, and house-infused everything.
Fridays feature live music by classy singers and a surprise element, if you manage to pop by at the right time.
