For those of us who dont hold a swanky banking job, the area around Bank station is pretty much the last place to cross our mind when looking for a good dinner or drink after work. However given that it is still very much in zone 1 and...
Went here on a thursday night and was really impressed. The bar area was buzzy and pretty full by half seven! We had booked a table in the restaurant area which was still buzzy but more quiet to have a chat. The service was attentive and friendly and the food was pretty good value (although the bun on my burger was a bit stale)! A really good city bar and a bit more interesting than the other souless city bars in the area
Lively buzz in this bar. Went mid-week for dinner and drinks and it was really busy. You can see they care here with good service, fun decor and good food. It's a recommendation from me!
I went down to Soul Saturdays at The Anthologist with a group of friends recently and really had a blast - not only is the venue so stylish that you could wear the wallpaper and look awesome, but also the music was quite literally out of this world. I strutted my stuff ALL night - usually I do a bit of wobbling near the bar area and spend more time being an onlooker... great cocktails too!
