Much like Solange Knowles, myself and other unfairly underrated younger siblings everywhere, ‘Northbank’ as an area (the various patches of hubbub that sit on the other side of the river from the Southbank) is often overlooked in favour of its more iconic counterpart. Is that fair? Well yes…
Hands up those who love their food and drink with stunning views of the Thames? Us too, which is why you'll regularly find us at Northbank Restaurant and Bar. Offering up a great plate of Cornish-inspired food and NYC-styled cocktails, the venue boasts a stunning terrace looking out over the city's Southbank and Millennium Bridge.
If you're not immediately charmed by the location and sleek interior, you'll soon be wowed by the standards of fare at Northbank. The menu changes frequently but you'll usually find a strong contingent of delicious fish, steak and ribs; immaculately presented and comprising of high quality ingredients.
Offering top notch standards across the board, Northbank is perfect for hosting a corporate lunch, dinner, private party, press events and pretty much anything else, really.

On 1 April, Northbank’s leafy terrace is opening for bookings and walk-ins. It's also available for parties and our chefs can cater for all your party needs, be it an intimate drinks event with canapés to sit-down, set-menu celebrations. Situated on the north bank of the River Thames, this special suntrap has views of Tate Modern, the Globe, the Millennium Bridge and the Shard, but is sheltered from the views of passers-by thanks to beautiful seasonal borders and fresh bamboo. The terrace seats 40 and you can book it for private hire or in conjunction with the bar (100 standing in total). It’s the perfect spot for wine-tastings, photo shoots, press events, summer work parties, personal celebrations, filming and wedding receptions.
