Leaving lunch for a colleague - food was good - Ben and the staff very helpful in moving tables around as we wanted the seating different. Ben kept in touch with relation to our food order. visited Jamies London Wall on 26 May 2017

Celebrated my birthday with my fiancé, Sister and some friends and was looked after by Ben and Madelena very well throughout the evening - Thank you guys and everyone really enjoyed a Monday night out! I had my retirement party here too - now almost 3 years ago and have subsequently dropped by on quite a few occasions when in The City. It is a little tucked away up on The Barbican Highwalk, but well worth finding for an excellent selection of wines and other drinks, food and a friendly welcome from the team always. Ideal for a special occasion or event too. visited Jamies London Wall on 22 May 2017

Once again Karolina and the Jamies London Wall Team were absolutely brilliant! We reserved a table to celebrate a colleague's birthday and another's leaving drinks, and were really surprised to find banners and a balloon in place for the birthday girl - really put a smile on her face, thank you all for a great evening :) visited Jamies London Wall on 09 Mar 2017

The service was terrible we had to keep getting up to ask for things like menu's & Drinks. Then we waited over 40 mins for our food considering it was 2 sandwiches and 2 burgers. After complaining the waiter/ barman took our bottle of wine off the bill this was only after saying oh but we are busy but there was only 3 tables in not the best experience really visited Jamies London Wall on 20 Dec 2016

My visit to Jamie's London wall was incredibly memorable all for the wrong reasons. I made a booking for 14 people over a month before our visit and they failed to mention that we had a table right in the middle of the bar. I was not impressed. The food was a disappointment, I ordered the prawns starter which came over salted and over cooked. My colleagues potatoes came cold and that was with a piece of plastic paper accidentally appearing on his plate. Then there was dessert, an unset mousse. It was runny and sickly - -all of us refused to eat it. The manager was incredibly helpful and overly sympathetic to the point that we had a discount and free bottles of prosecco. However after a long day's work, I would've preferred decent food.... very poor, won't be stepping back in again. natasha visited Jamies London Wall on 16 Dec 2016

The ambiance was really poor, all the tables and chairs from the rest of the entire restaurant were taken away whilst we were eating. There was a limited menu- only sandwiches available. The sandwiches we had were awful. visited Jamies London Wall on 13 Dec 2016

My visit to Jamie's was disappointing. I was glad I could make a group booking the day before for lunch, but on arrival we were told there was only a limited menu. I would have preferred to know that the menu would be limited at the time of booking, or at least in advance. The limited menu wasn't even printed out, so we were choosing from what the waiter was telling us verbally: one burger to choose from, half a dozen sandwiches, a couple salads, and chicken/veggie skewers. That was awkward and not what we were expecting from a lunch booking. After the initial offers to order drinks (they really push the bar aspect of the venue), they took our food orders considerately. But after that, as the place filled up somewhat, their attention was hard to get. We had to remind them of drink orders and go find someone to give us the bill. The food was equally uninspiring. The burgers (Route 66s) were good but not very large, the fries were ok, but not great. The skewers were not as hot as they should be, but were tasty. The cranberry sandwich was good. The coffee was bitter. Also, the brownies not only took forever to come out, (well after the coffees had been finished), but were stale and weren't even heated up to complement the cold ice cream. Their main redeeming feature was the caramel sauce on top. It was genuinely hard to cut through the brownies with a spoon. All in all, disappointing. The ambiance was lovely, but when the food is sub-par, it's not worth it unless you're only going for drinks. visited Jamies London Wall on 08 Dec 2016

We all had a great Christmas lunch/afternoon at Jamies. Very attentive and helpful staff. The venue was perfect - a pretty much private area. Thank you to the team!!! jlrogers123 visited Jamies London Wall on 07 Dec 2016

We booked Christmas lunch for 18 people costing over £500. Unfortunately all of the food was very slow to arrive and cold. The menu advertised king prawns as a starter but they were tiny. When diners complained, the response was that they had ordered king prawns but received the small shrimps. This led to the question: did they not check the delivery? The main course was served cold and the portions were very small. The turkey was dry and there was only one slice. The gravy was a congealed cold blob of jelly and there were no roast potatoes as listed on the menu. The staff promised to bring some potatoes but they never appeared. Most people did not eat their meal. Next the Christmas puddings were also served cold. They were all returned and heated in the microwave. There was some confusion over the orders with some people were given others choices even though the booking gave people's names with their orders. It felt to us that the food was similar to ready meals bought in and served cold. There was no quality control over what was being served. As the cost of the meal was similar or more than other venues offering much better quality meals (including places owned by celebrity chefs) we naturally felt ripped off. We were lucky no one got food poisoning. We were looking forward to an enjoyable team Christmas lunch but all left upset and extremely disappointed. We were given a very small discount after many complaints but the party was ruined by the terrible food. The manageress later offered some free drinks at a later date but never responded when a small number of people agreed to return. We felt let down twice. visited Jamies London Wall on 29 Nov 2016

Our party of eight was made welcome by the pleasant and helpful staff. Service was very good. To eat we had a mix of a platter, skewers, nachos and chips all of which were very good. The platters are a little expensive, otherwise there is little to complain about. visited Jamies London Wall on 10 Nov 2016

The area we booked was great (mezzanine) and drinks were all set up for when we arrived. However, we weren't told when we booked that the kitchen closed at 3pm on a Tuesday so once our free platter had been served no more food would be available! When hosting an evening event for over 30 people one would assume that food would be an essential ingredient. It should be specified when someone books if the kitchen will be closed once the event starts. On that aspect disappointing and very frustrating. visited Jamies London Wall on 11 Oct 2016
