Thought this venue would be really really pretentious but it wasn't! Drinks are quite expensive but I'm sure if you want a taste of the 'Chelsea High Life' it's worth it!
Never visit Ju Ju's. I celebrated my friends 30th birthday at Ju Ju's last night and the service we received was awful. A 30th should be a special occasion, however with a waitress who never served our table, we were left with 'you have not met your minimum spend' chat from the manager. The manager was unhelpful to say the least. My friend couldn't enjoy herself as she was too busy trying to sort out bills (which were all wrong) with the manager. Awful awful place that should take more pride in customer service.
Booked the Queens area at JuJu bar for farewell drinks on Saturday based on the good reviews. The minimum charge was £450 for 15 people - bit pricey but was well worth it. Service was impeccable. All staff were very friendly and professional starting from the event manager to the door people and waitresses on the night. They were very flexible with numbers which was a bonus as we were sure exactly how many people would be attending. Drinks were of a high quality and table service orders were attended to efficiently. The crowd was surprisngly ok, not as pretentious as I expected. DJ was great too! Highly recommended if you are looking for attentive customer service and a stress free evening.
Love em or hate em Sloanies are all over this part of town and Juju is no different. But what it has managed to achieve is a slightly more sophisticated group of Chelsea socialites that are bored of the nightclubs and spoilt children. Christian the bar manager really knows his stuff and so the drinks are very well made and fairly consistent. The food is good quality but quite expensive, and the atmosphere is great on a busy night. But due to its large windows looking out onto the Kings Road, the place has quite a nice feeling when quite empty too. I’ve met nicer bouncers in my time but at the same time they weren’t overly rude. All in all I thought the bar did a good job and in an area with surprisingly few cocktail bars really shines a beacon of hope against the pubs, nightclubs and members clubs.
Thought it would be horribly pretentious but not at all! Great place around Chelsea for cocktails and a bit of a party!
they have the most amazing cocktails...highly recommend the Pornstar Martini :)
