The London Cocktail Exchange

Description

Hey. We're a cute neighbourhood cocktail bar just minutes from Tottenham Court Road, with a ground floor (with outdoor tables) for sunsoaked spritzes, a downstairs bar for some moodier vibes and a dedicated space for hosting the best cocktail masterclasses.

As for who we are - a bar and company built by lifelong London bartenders - we exchange cocktails, for your money. We’ve been doing it a long ol' time, and still love it. Hopefully you do, too. We serve the other stuff too – all the usual drinks, great food, mega friendly vibes. But cocktails are our thing - some even think they're the best cocktails in London - our menu is all originals, packed full of flavour and laughs, usually a story or two. But we'll make you anything you fancy - all the favourites, all the classics, all the same price.

Oh, and we do killer cocktail masterclass - over a decade of development has gone into ’em. The usual innuendos and syrupy mess is fun and all, but we wanted to offer more – plenty of laughs, but proper know-how and physical teaching too. The purpose is simple: we want everyone walking away knowing how flavour works and how to make delicious shit at home without the stress. Our own teams go through these classes.

Ground Floor Venue Hire 30 40 - 1700 2000

All them sunny vibes – big windows, outdoor tables on Windmill Street, spritzes on draft and a heap of other goodies too. An easy, breezy cocktail bar that gets real moody as the sun goes down.

Downstairs Private Bar Basement Space 40 50 - 1500 2500

Oh, she’s sexy. Lowlit and moody AF, with enough AC that even when it’s glorious outside, this is still the beating heart of the bar. Think speakeasy – but not 2010, and actually fun.

London Cocktail Exchange - whole venue Venue Hire 80 100 - 3000 5000

Whether you’re looking for a space for a personal party or something a little more corporate, we’re dead simple here – we don’t charge for the hire itself, merely setting minimum spends to cover the cost of closing to our usual patrons for the space and period in question.

The downstairs can take 50 people, and usually has a minimum spend around £2000, though that depends on a few things like timings, season, etc. The ground floor can take more like 40 people, and comes around £1800, give or take. Whole venue hire is a little more complicated, so just reach on out to discuss if you’re looking for a spot for 80-100 folks!

Going for the whole venue gives a heap of options, both in terms of the vibe, outdoor seating, downstairs, etc - and, especially on midweeks where we may not be already opening the downstairs, there are midway possibilities for getting the whole venue but with service on just one floor to keep your costs down.

* The minimum spends are a guideline only and vary according to the day and time of the year.
