Simmons offers a little something extra from your run of the mill London bars. It has got the nostalgic kitschy interior design down to a tee, with the bright wallpaper, knick-knacks hanging around the place, and a SNES for your gaming pleasure. You'll feel like you're in the den of your parents' childhoods - if your parents were super cool and made excellent cocktails that is. This bar has also got lots of fun stuff happening in the evenings; so it aint just a pretty face.
Drinks are served out of eclectic vessels like jugs, tea pots and china cups, just in case you thought this bar couldn't get any cooler. The list is extensive, with cocktail ingredients as unusual and delicious as you would expect, with lots and lots of fresh fruit like rasberries and blueberries making an appearance. You'll also find heady IPA beers and ales by the bottle at Simmons for those less in the mood for fruity cocktails. Combined with a 5 hour long happy hour, this bar is a great one for a well priced date night or meet up with friends, where you can have a giggle over a couple of tea pots and get dancing under the disco skull (we want one) when the time is right.
The Simmons Bar group has continued to grow with a total 25 sites across London.
