Found just shy of Catford Broadway, Catford Constitutional Club
is a bar in South London with charm, history and a fantastic menu
on its side. Brimming with lush ales and gastro grub, the CCC is a
darling endeavour not to be missed.
Located in the heart of a building that stood abandoned for a
sore 20 years, Antic London transformed the space from Catford
Bridge Tavern into a wonderland of kitsch charm and darling, if not
slightly dated interiors. Keeping the bones of the building but
adding a smattering of vintage charm, expect nitbits, retro
furniture, kitsch wallpapers, bunting and more, all split between
bar, restaurant and garden alike. There's a regular rotation of
events on offer too, so don't miss the likes of their quiz nights,
film nights, comedy evenings, live music and more.
Dining at CCC has to be a must thanks to their bustling gastro
menu and cutesy dining room. Brimming with beloved classics, guests
to CCC can enjoy palate pleasing plates the likes of pan fried sea
trout with braised puy lentils at £11.95, or slow roasted pork
belly with jersey royals at a more than affordable £12. Need
something to wash that down with? From craft beers, delicious
ciders and beloved ales to globally renowned bottles of wine,
Catford Constitutional Club will more than quench any thirst.
