The Black Heart is primarily a trendy and unique live music
venue located in Greenland Place in Camden. A pub at heart, the
interior is all wood panelling with bar stools littering the bar
area; couple this with a very cool decor aesthetic and you get
framed movie posters, various band paraphernalia and even a shrine
to Christ the Redeemer, very quirky but seriously awesome.
The beer selection at The Black Heart is certainly one of its
most auspicious and defining features; with a great range of
bottled and draught beer and ale, this pub really does cater to
your average-Joe who enjoys a good honest pint. However, you'd be
remiss to think they are one-dimensional, with a good selection of
wines that you'd be hard pressed to find at another pub of its
sort.
Live music is the other key selling point of The Black Heart;
every week they offer a diverse and uplifting selection of rock,
metal, jazz, ska and singer/songwriters to satisfy any musical
taste buds. As well as music, they also have comedy nights which
seem to edge towards the political satire genre, another string to
add to the already crowded bow.
