One of the coolest drinking hangouts in North London, Simmons Mornington Crescent follows on from its King's Cross sister bar with unadulterated kitsch flair. Step off Camden High Street and you'll find a charismatic retreat that's known for it's awesome VHS videos, Mario Kart and the world's largest Skull mirror ball.

Much like its city centre counterpart, Simmons Mornington Crescent is awash with vintage charm and ravenous with retro flair in both its decor and dessert based cocktails. Master mixologists offer a one stop shop for some of the most creative cocktails in town, and their happy hours are the stuff of legend too. Running from 4 until 9pm, Sunday to Friday, you can grab a glass of wine or a spirit and mixer for £2.50 as well as two of their famous cocktails for a tenner, among other awesome deals.

Simmons' fantastic happy hour, quirky furnishings and laidback vibes make it the perfect place for a spot of after work mingling and late-night hip shaking alike.

The DJ was amazing, the drinks were cheap, the atmosphere was amazing, friendly barmen, friendly people and a GLITTERY SKULL HANGING FROM THE CEILING!!! what more could you ask for?!

The best venue in Camden by miles! Really friendly staff and great drinks. Chatted to the bartender Peppe for ages, really nice guy and really welcoming. Would highly recommend and will be back!

Who doesn't love a glittering skull mirror? Really fun decor and super friendly venue. The DJ was great when I was here and happy hour is great. I will be back!

My favourite place to visit in Camden for 1 or 10 cocktails and cheap beer with friends. Love the vibe of the venue and friendly staff. Great bar on a Friday night

Go to venue in Camden, offers a great all round night with DJ's great drinks and a proper little party atmosphere on the weekends, great crowd and is the go to place for those who know!

Really great find, went there after a gig at Koko, was really busy and had a wicked DJ playing. Stayed all night and was very well looked after. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend. Much love Simmons!!

I booked a table here for my birthday three weeks in advance. On the night, I walked into the bar to find the staff had given my table to another party. When asked whether I could have my table, my party and I were rudely told my party was already seated and there was nothing that could be done. Although I finally got my table (ten minutes later), no apology was given to me or my party and quite frankly, who would want to stay in a bar that was that rude to their customers? Perhaps this bar is good for a drink or two and not tailored for bigger parties. But saying that, even their cocktails failed to live up to the hype. We left 20 minutes after arriving and will not be coming back. rheatuli visited Simmons Mornington Crescent on 09 Jul 2016

Hi Rhea, So sorry you had a disappointing experience and many thanks for your feedback! Please do have a bottle of wine on us by way of apology, drop me an email to so we can arrange! Best regards, Simmons Team

Yummy cocktails, nice staff and a random back room where people were playing Mario Kart! More towards Monnington Crescent than Camden (I think!). We got a free cocktail with the app Drinki.

What a wonderful find! Managed to book a table (glad I did as there are not many tables). Great drinks, lovely staff and a really friendly vibe. Brilliant DJ too - he certainly had us all up and dancing! rs visited Simmons Mornington Crescent on 12 Mar 2016

Lovely little place! Great atmosphere and decor. Cocktails resonably priced. Lovely bar staff very friendly. The seating and tables are limited but many people preferred to get up and dance so it wasn't a struggle to find seating

Great cocktails, bar staff and music! Good night out. Joined some friends for birthday pre-drinks and stayed for the night! Love the mirrored skull disco ball. Great location as well.

Great little spot in Camden. The new manager, I think his name was Jon, helped my manager out after another place did not honour our booking. The tea pots are inspired, the cocktails edgy but perfect and the atmosphere was very up and energetic. We got given a space in the back room and all had a really smashing evening-Loved it !

Really nice place! Not pretentious at all, cheap drinks served. I think its part of a chain which might make people assume it'll be less of a good place but that's not the case at all!

Really nice and cosy little bar right opposite Mornington Crescent tube station. The staff are really nice and seem to take a lot of pride in their service. The back room is a perfect little hideout to have a few drinks and a chat; entertainment is also available by reading the graffiti on the tables, or playing the SNES!

Lovely bar went before koko! amazing happy hour with great drinks as well! Love the SNES in the back room well worth the effort, will definitely be coming back here

Retro is the name of this venues game. The joint is relatively small but greatly intimate. Loads of quirky touches and blended into the decor including old school lamp shades, game boy consoles and vintage looking school desks. Defo a must see if you're ever in the area!

great place, especially for a kitsch-bitch like me. really small though, so like the below says, maybe be careful when booking big groups. beautiful place though, will be coming back x

Fun and quirky bar with cheap drinks. Loved the furniture and decor. Major downside was the size of the area we had reserved. We made a booking for 15 and then amended to 20 but the space was not suitable for more than 10-12 people. As a result things got a bit difficult for us hosts to manage when we were supposed to be celebrating. Would recommend this bar for a night out with a few friends or hiring the function room.

A really lovely place to stop by for a cocktail or two. It's really kitsch and intimate, staff are friendly and the cocktails are great. Happy hour deals are unmissable too, so cheap to the point that you forget you are in Camden

Great place, absolutely love it! I've spent many a happy evening enjoying they're very cheap happy hour! Cocktails are well made, tasty and nicely priced. Big Fan!

If their bar in King's Cross was anything to go by, then I'm sure this new opening will go down an absolute storm! Can't wait!

So happy to see a second venue for SimmonS, especially as this one is so much closer to my flat, literally do some of the best cocktails i've ever had. I'll be first up for a strawberry cake cocktail!
