The Lounge at The Gate is a new lounge bar and terrace just steps from Liverpool street station, Spitalfields and Brick Lane.

Located on the fifth floor of an iconic 21 storey Flatiron-style luxury aparthotel with stunning views of the city, and designed as a private area available exclusively to hotel guests, The Lounge extends The Gate’s boutique atmosphere by opening its doors to the public for the first time this spring.

Curated by British contemporary and street art brand Maddox Gallery, its slick city design combined with eclectic East London ambiance and Mid-Century inspired furnishings create a welcoming and luxurious urban experience to enjoy at any time of day.

Offering seasonal and nutritious grab-and-go dishes, organic teas, and barista coffees throughout the day, The Lounge transforms in the evening. A carefully selected list of local and international beers and wines that include gluten-free, vegan and organic options and the delicate ambiance music make the Lounge an ideal spot for after-work drinks. 

The Northwest-facing fifth-floor terrace with stunning views of the City and beyond will host seasonal experiences like barbecues and wine tastings or wellbeing classes throughout the summer. 

Both the indoor lounge bar and the rooftop terrace are available for private hire, and the flexible space can be adapted to suit corporate events, team building, birthdays, wedding receptions, cocktail night, and much more.
