Jazz Lates is a series of intimate Jazz events that take place in our wonderful living room. On May 27th it is with great pleasure that we welcome vocalist Nick Walters and Rebecca Nash to the living room stage as they present their new project, Sarsen Drift.
ABOUT SARSEN DRIFT
Sarsen Drift is a new collab between pianist Rebecca Nash and trumpeter/producer Nick Walters.
The pair have always had a plan to combine musical forces having individually notched up several acclaimed releases on major labels including Whirlwind Recordings, 22a Records, EFPI Records and D.O.T. over the last decade.
This new venture, firmly rooted in their mutual appreciation of electronica and jazz begun in 2020, and now this duo are ready to bring it to the world. Their music incorporates electronics, as well as samples taken from the natural world of Avebury Stone Henge and its surrounding areas blending them with acoustic instruments on stage.
Echoes of influences such as bands like Royksopp, Aphex Twin, and Lemon Jelly can be heard in the mix of their sound alongside live improvisation.
For their show at 91 Living Room, Nick and Rebecca will be joined by Nim Sadot on bass guitar and Andrew Lisle on drums.
Sarsen Drift’s new album entitled The Sanctuary will be released on D.O.T. Records later this year.

SweetNightJoe will be taking over turntable duties following Rebecca Nash and Nick Walters live performance.
SweetNightJoe aka Joseph Russell is an Italo/British DJ, music selector and producer that’s released on multiple labels including Early Sounds Recordings. For the last 5 years he’s been focusing on his party called Sweetnighter. A monthly club night he’s been running in London since 2018 in venues such as brilliant corners, giant steps, night tales loft and the jago.
