Jazz Lates is a series of intimate Jazz events that take place in our wonderful living room. On June 3rd it is with great pleasure that we welcome back alto saxophonist Donovan Haffner to the living room stage.
Donovan will be joined on stage by a stellar band, featuring Harry Ling on drums, Menelik Claffey on double bass, and Fransisco Garcia de Parades on guitar.
DONOVAN HAFFNER
Donovan Haffner is an alto saxophonist with over a decade’s experience. He is presently studying at the Royal Academy of Music, specialising in Jazz.
Donovan has played with a multitude of professional musicians including big contemporary names such as Moses Boyd and Jay Phelps and was mentored by Gary Crosby, Alex Davis and Binker Golding of Tomorrow’s Warriors. The band plays originals written by Donovan, influenced by Joe Henderson, Immanuel Wilkins and Walter Smith, as well as Kenny Dorham and Joel Ross and many more.
