Ticket & Waiver Policy

By purchasing a ticket and attending this event, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to the following ticket terms, safety waiver and event conditions.

1. Assumption of Risk

The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior to, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, World Pirate Tours, DesignMyNight/WFL Media Ltd and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners, employees, contractors and representatives are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.

2. Nature of the Event

This is a walking, boat and bar-based group activity involving movement between venues, uneven surfaces, waterside areas, steps, public spaces, boat boarding, group games, light physical challenges, music, singing, dancing, social interaction and optional drinking. By attending, you accept that these activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, trips, falls, minor injuries, weather-related issues, contact with other participants, loss of personal belongings and risks associated with being near water.

3. Personal Responsibility

All guests are responsible for their own behaviour, safety, alcohol consumption and personal belongings throughout the event. Guests must drink responsibly, follow instructions from hosts and venue staff, and avoid any behaviour that may put themselves, other guests, staff, members of the public or venues at risk.

4. Fitness to Participate

By attending, you confirm that you are physically able to take part in the event and that you will not participate in any activity that you feel is unsafe or unsuitable for you. Any guest with medical conditions, injuries, mobility concerns or any other relevant issue should make the organiser aware before taking part.

5. Boats, Waterways and Weather

Parts of the event may take place on or near boats, docks, canals, rivers or waterside areas. Guests must take extra care near water, follow all safety instructions and remain aware of their surroundings. Some activities, routes, timings or venues may be changed, delayed or removed due to weather, operational requirements, venue availability, boat availability or safety concerns.

6. Games and Group Activities

Games and challenges are designed to be fun and light-hearted. Participation is voluntary. Guests must not take part in any game in a reckless, aggressive or unsafe manner. World Pirate Tours reserves the right to stop any activity or remove any participant from a game if behaviour is deemed unsafe or inappropriate.

7. Venue Rules

Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of each venue. Guests must comply with all venue policies, staff instructions, licensing rules and safety requirements. Venues reserve the right to refuse admission or remove guests for reasons including, but not limited to, intoxication, anti-social behaviour, abusive conduct, failure to provide valid ID or breach of venue rules.

8. Age Restriction and ID

The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Valid identification may be required by venues and/or event staff. Failure to provide acceptable ID may result in refused entry without refund.

9. Ticket Checks

Please check your tickets carefully at the time of purchase, as mistakes cannot always be rectified. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have booked the correct date, time, ticket type and number of tickets.

10. Lateness

Guests should arrive on time for the event. Every effort will be made to accommodate latecomers where possible, but admission, missed sections of the event or catching up with the group cannot always be guaranteed. No refunds will be given for late arrival or missed parts of the experience.

11. Cancellations, Postponements and Changes

Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, venue, boat operator or organiser for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event is moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.

12. Refunds and Exchanges

We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase, except where required by law or where the event is cancelled by the organiser. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter’s right to alter or vary the programme, route, activities, timings or venues due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.

13. Resale

If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight/WFL Media Ltd or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be refused entry to or ejected from the venue.

14. Security Searches

The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion conduct security searches to ensure the safety of guests, staff and members of the public.

15. No Smoking

Venues may operate a No Smoking Policy. Guests must follow venue smoking and vaping rules at all times.

16. Personal Property

The promoter, venue management, World Pirate Tours and DesignMyNight/WFL Media Ltd accept no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal property. Guests are responsible for keeping their belongings safe throughout the event.

17. Photos and Videos

Photos and videos may be taken during the event for social media, promotional and marketing purposes. By attending, you agree that World Pirate Tours may capture and use event content featuring you, unless you tell the host before or during the event that you do not wish to be filmed or photographed.

18. Behaviour and Removal

World Pirate Tours, venue staff and event hosts reserve the right to refuse participation, remove a guest from the event or end a guest’s involvement without refund if they are intoxicated, aggressive, abusive, unsafe, disruptive, disrespectful to staff or guests, or otherwise acting in a way that may harm the experience or safety of others.

19. Agreement

By purchasing a ticket, attending the event or taking part in any activity, you confirm that you accept these terms and participate at your own risk.
