Inspired by the flavours of Southeast Asia, Mamasan is a
Liverpool restaurant offering a sleek and chic dining
experience. The three-storey eatery comes decked out in a
gorgeous colour palette of vibrant teals and gold trims, as well as
statement light fixtures and plenty of lush foliage.
Naturally, it's got plates pretty enough to match the interiors,
with decadent dishes of tuna tataki, seared Barra scallops and
lobster tail prawn toast. Or for something heartier? Bowls of
monkfish green curry, steamed sea bass and crispy Iberico pork.
Head down to the College Lane dining room for a weekend brunch
though and you'll be treated streaky bacon roti rolls and crab
omelettes, or their signature Big Bangkok Breakfast, fronting
smoked pork belly, Thai sausage and chickpea curry.
Over at the bar you'll find a fitting selection of quaffable
cocktails, from refreshing mixes of lemongrass vodka, lychee and
butterfly pea flower, to more unique tipples fronting
sweetcorn-infused rum and vanilla smoke. If you're looking to keep
things simple however, there's an impressive wine list and plenty
of cold beers in the fridges.
