Description
Liverpool's premier 'tropical hideaway and drunken parrot sanctuary', Aloha is a bolshie tiki bar on Colquitt Street fronting experimental drinks, inventive interiors and shed loads of spunky personality. From live music to DJs, ping pong to games of Jenga, the bar enjoys a bustling rota of entertainment, all through the week. Decked out in traditional-cum-wacky tropical furnishings, this basement bar in Liverpool promises the best of fun-time Polynesian and Hawaiian culture.
Fancy a cocktail in a ridiculously impractical vessel? Will an elephant's head, a volcano or a wooden leg do? Good. As that's exactly what you'll get here. Boasting an impressive cocktail menu - ranging from sharers to 'zombies' - rum is very much the order of the day at Aloha. That said, if rum doesn't float your boat, there are plenty of other options available, too. Attracting a young, up-for-it crowd, the bar tends to heat up between Thursday-Saturday, where you can dance your Hawaiian skirts off until a heady 4am.
A welcomed respite from city life, head to Aloha for chilled beats, delicious drinks and creativity aplenty. ʻOno!
