Description
Set within the industrial surrounds of Headrow House, Ox Club is one of Leeds’ most celebrated dining rooms, known for its bold, contemporary British cooking and mastery of solid-fuel grilling. Opened in 2016 inside a former textile mill, the restaurant pairs raw, atmospheric interiors with a laser focus on exceptional Yorkshire produce.
Now firmly established and featured in both the Michelin Guide and The Good Food Guide, Ox Club champions local and regional suppliers at every turn. Meat comes from small, family-run North Yorkshire farms such as Swaledale Foods and R&J Butchers, while fish is landed fresh from the North Sea by Hodgson’s of Hartlepool and fruit and vegetables are sourced through trusted growers at Wellocks.
The menu changes daily, driven by seasonality and availability, allowing the kitchen to work creatively with whatever’s at its best, from sweet North Sea langoustines to perfectly grilled lamb rump from the Swaledale fields. Dishes are simple yet inventive, letting smoke, fire and quality ingredients take centre stage.
