Description
Since opening, we have become one of Leeds’ well known watering holes providing a wide selection of craft beer, Yorkshire ales, wines, spirits and soft drinks. Our carefully selected list of cocktails changes each season, are available 7 days a week, and you can grab yourself the 2-4-1 offer all day on Thursdays.
We love championing local suppliers, and you'll find a
great range local breweries sitting alongside our own
Leeds Brewery range, catering for both traditional real ale
fans and craft beer enthusiasts alike.
When it comes to spirits, we know what we’re doing as well, with
an extensive gin list, along with a paired garnishes, and a
great choice of whiskeys, rums, and vodkas.
Our wines are something of a talking point too. Our wine supplier is a family owned Wine Merchant, and they are one of the largest importers of wine into the Country, but do so as a family owned, environmentally conscious business. They operate a highly sustainable bottling plant, and are in the process of setting up one of the first carbon neutral bottling plants that is due to go live in 2022, a great way of doing your bit for the planet, drinking wine of course!
We've also teamed up with one of Leeds' best burger kitchens 'BigBuns'. These guys know how to do smash burgers, and have even been rated 10 out of 10 by youtube sensation 'rate my takeaway'. Launching new additions to the menu this winter, the guys are branching out into chicken burgers and wings. Not to be missed.
Originally the pub housed a brew-house upstairs, which gave
birth to Leeds Brewery's very own lager 'Leodis', which we
still serve today.
Now, the brewhouse has been repurposed into a private hire
upstairs bar and function room, complete with its own secluded
balcony, a great sun trap in summer, and a tented refuge in
winter. The venue itself offers a unique, stylish
interior upstairs and down, with a relaxed and comfortable
atmosphere within close proximity to the train station, it has
one of the best locations for function room hire in the city,
and together with the Bigbuns kitchen, we can cater for
all your private hire needs.
A great place to meet straight off the train, a last stop
for nightcaps at the end of the day, or just a relaxed
environment to have a coffee and watch the world go by.
With discounts on takeaway beer from our fridges for the train ride home, a canning machine hitting the bar in the very near future, as well as prosecco Fridays, gin deals, flights of beer, there’s always a reason to drop in for a chat and a drink.
