Whisky Masterclasses

Occurring on a monthly basis, the Pullman St Pancras Hotel will be organising varied whisky masterclasses for you to enjoy. Learn why whiskies differ between countries and varieties and how they match with chocolate, charcuterie and cheese. Join a whisky expert to try a range of offerings each month, starting at 6:30pm and costing £45 per person. Classes can also be booked exclusively for private parties for up to 14 people.

TASTE OF THE IRISH

Monday 17th of March, 18:30

This St Patrick's Day celebrate your Irish heritage and discover a new Irish whiskey from the varied selection on offer from the creamy Tyrconnell, the underrated Teeling and the rare Middleton.

SCOTLAND VS JAPAN

Thursday 24th of April, 18:30

Taste some of the best selections both competing countries have to offer, from the Scottish Auchentoshan and Ardbeg Corryvreckan to the Japanese Hibiki, Nikka and Hakushu, you'll be the judge. 

WHAT'S IN A BARREL?

Thursday 22nd of May, 18:30

In this masterclass, you'll learn and taste the results of barrel experimentation previously used for sherry, port and dessert wine and now of course whisky, with such selection as Edradour and Double Wood. 

CAN CHEESE REALLY COMPLEMENT WHISKY?

Thursday 19th of June, 18:30

Despite cheese usually being associated with wine, it is possible to make an ideal match with whisky depending on the right variety and the right country. Enjoy tipples from Britain, Australia, India and the USA paired with cheeses from the UK, France, Italy and Spain.
