Spooktacular, the brand new immersive spooky event, is arriving at Silverburn on Thursday 7th October.
Spooktacular will feature an epic rollercoaster, thrill rides for thrill-seekers, ‘little pumpkin’ family rides and a festival wheel with the best view of Glasgow.
Situated in the green car park at Silverburn, Spooktacular is sure to be frightfully good fun. From thrill-seekers looking for a spine-tingling time to ‘little pumpkins’, Spooktacular does not disappoint, with all 15 rides included in all wristbands purchased including Waltzer, Ghost Train, Miami Trip, Big Apple Coaster plus much more!
Tickets
We have a variety of rides at Spooktacular, some of those rides do have a height restriction. Our ticket prices are based on height rather than age, meaning If you’re tall enough to ride everything then you’ll need a different ticket to those who aren’t.
Anyone under 1.2m qualifies for a ‘Little Pumpkins’ ticket
Anyone over 1.2m will need to buy a ‘Gross Grown-Up’ ticket
Height restrictions apply to all of our rides. Please note that any ride or attraction may be closed or removed, under repair or unavailable at any time due to operational reasons. Some rides may not be suitable for people who are pregnant or who have neck and back pain or heart problems.

What is spooktacular?
A ghoulishly good time! Spooktacular is a Halloween-themed fairground coming to Silverburn this October.
How many times can I go on the rides?
As many times as you like! Our tickets offer you unlimited rides throughout your 4-hour session.
Is Spooktacular suitable for kids?
Yes! We’ve got plenty for the family to enjoy and have attractions for all ages. We keep the ghostly goings-on suitable for younger visitors
What are the tickets?
We have a variety of tickets, you can see the options on our ticket page
How can i make a school booking?
If you would like to arrange a group booking please email info@thespooktacular.com and a member of our team will assist you. We offer discounts for larger bookings over 30 tickets.
Can I buy tickets on the day?
A very limited number of unlimited ride wristbands will be available to purchase on the day at box office. We advise to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Do your Food and Beverage outlets cater to those with dietary requirements and/or allergies?
Yes. We have a range of catering that will cater to dietary requirements and/or allergies. No food or drink can be brought on to the site.
Do you have a Drop Off and Pick Up point?
There is free parking at Silverburn. We advise parking in the multi-story car park and walking through to the site.

Can I stay after my session ends?
As COVID is still present, we need to ensure that the sessions aren’t too busy and that everyone has room, unfortunately, this means that when your session is over you’ll need to leave.
Do I need a COVID Passport?
No. In line with the current guidelines outlined by the scottish government, you do not need a covid passport to enter spooktacular. We will monitor this and all COVID-19 guidance closely and will remain in dialogue with the local authority throughout the planning process.
Below is a list of measures currently being planned for and implemented at the event:
− Increased provision of hand sanitisation units around the site
− Thorough clean down service of communal contact or handling points
− Use of face masks, recommended
− to undertake a Lateral Flow test in advance of arrival on site, recommended
− NHS Track and Trace will be available on arrival for those customers that wish to use it

With a terrifyingly towering roller coaster, ghoulishly good rides and much much more, this fiendish fairground filled with frightfully good fun will put you and your little monsters under its spell.
Thrills, spills and chills can all be found at Spooktacular. Whether it’s watching enchanting performances in the circus, busting some blood curdling moves at the spooky silent disco or trying your (severed) hand to bag some fangtastic prizes on our games, you’ll find everything eeriesistible.
T&Cs
1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
