One of the world's most prolific Italian restaurants, this Buchanan Street eatery is the first branch of Vapiano to come to Glasgow. With 205 sites in 35 countries over 5 continents, the Glasgow location marks the brand's sixth opening in the UK and its second in Scotland. 

Serving up an extensive selection of pizzas, pasta, salads and antipasti, Vapiano's take on traditional Italian cuisine is always a crowd-pleaser. The restaurant prepares 11 different varieties of pasta every day, with two spelt offerings and a huge array of sauces and fillings. Their pizzas too are made fresh to order and topped with a vast array of high-quality ingredients.

Their Unique ordering works perfectly for large groups - you’re given a chip card on arrival and use this to register your order direct with the chef who will cook your meal exactly as you like it - perfect for intolerances and dietary preferences. Once finished you simply give the card back and pay on the way out. 

Housed inside the iconic building of the former George Hotel, the 293-capacity venue has been restored to a former glory with the replacement of Victorian stained-glass window. However, it has maintained a thoroughly modern look with a large, open-plan dining area split over two floors, and individual herb gardens on each table for guests to pick their own garnishes.
