One of Edinburgh’s most popular Indian restaurants is set to open a second restaurant in Glasgow at the start of November. Tuk Tuk, so named after the three-wheeler rickshaws that trundle through the streets of India, will offer a tasty insight into the vibrancy, colours and tastes of the country’s street food scene.
Tuk Tuk will come to Sauchiehall Street with an all-day menu, serving tiffin lunch boxes and a sharing-style menu of smaller plates in the evening. You’ll be able to get the usual street food staples as well as a few tasty new additions, with a delivery and takeaway service if you’re eyeing up a night in. The restaurant will feature striking murals on its walls and will have a BYOB policy alongside its lassi drinks available in mango, coconut and lychee flavours.
A word from the chef:
Specialists in the vibrancy, tastes, sounds and smells of the Indian street food market, Tuk Tuk present a menu of authentic lunch boxes and sharing plates.
